DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of fun\, adventure and life learning in the wilds of Co. Mayo.  \n£75 (Parent & Child) \nThe day will be an opportunity for you to; \n\nExplore how best to manage the transition in to secondary school.\n\n\nLearn how to better deal with worry and anxiety\n\n\nImprove your communication skills\n\n\nIdentify fears and worries and learn coping skills\n\n\nFind ways to deal with bullying\n\n\nFight fear by facing fear\n\n\nLearn some cool bushcraft skills.\n\nIn addition to the above\, you will also be offered a confidential 30 minute online session with Peter.  \nThe day will be an opportunity to have fun in the outdoors\, learn some new life skills and prepare for the upcoming change in to secondary school.  \nBE PREPARED! Co. Mayo is majestic and beautiful in places\, but can also be changeable and unpredictable at times. So\, please bring waterproofs\, wear layers of clothing and bring a packed lunch & water.  \nWe will meet at Centra\, Main Street\, Newport at 9:45am sharp\, before driving to our destination on the beautiful Bangor trail.  \nNB: The health & safety of participants and trainers are our priority. We will be working within the guidelines of HSE recommendations and guidelines in relation to post Covid-19 requirements. \nABOUT THE TRAINERS: \nPeter & Graham are both parents of young children with a love and passion for the outdoors. They both know the challenges of parenting and have have first hand experience of being children and adolescents themselves! They are both experienced practitioners in the areas of Psychotherapy and Outdoor Education and are passionate about utilising the majestic natural beauty of Co.
