Staying the Course - Follow-Up Programme

Like the grooves a wagon makes in an old trail over many years or the path worn in a carpet between the front door and the living room, old habits run deep and strong. Having completed one of our programmes we recognize that change is difficult and that in order to develop anger management skills so strong that they will override old ways of expressing anger, even in the most difficult circumstances, additional programmes are necessary to enable you to "Stay the Course". Therefore even when you feel you've learned how to react to anger triggers more effectively, you may find yourself backsliding from time to time. When this happens, you may feel discouraged, sometimes to the point of despair, all of your effort has been for nothing. Know that this is not true. There are many reasons for relapsing into the old ways, and virtually everyone falls prey to them at some point. To help you respond effectively when the inevitable relapse occurs we have designed a range of programmes and support systems to gain insight as to what is the cause of your setback and institute remedies to help you stay the course.

These include:

  • Support network
  • Support group
  • Refresher programmes
  • Member's web forum (for previous participants)
  • Counselling/Psychotherapy

Details of all the above are given at the end of each of our programmes.

Cost: Euro 95 : £85
