SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPLETED OUR PROGRAMMES SAID::
TEMPER YOUR ANGER 1, 2 AND 3.
I am really grateful to Bernard. This course has given me an insight into my
anger triggers and anger style. It has helped me to realise that conflicts can
be resolved as adults without taking things personally and exploding.
The course was very enjoyable, helpful and powerful. It has given me the
strength to go home and face what I normally fear.
I can’t find the words to express how I feel. Anger was wrecking my life – my
advice is do this course – most important thing I have done in many years.
Thanks to Bernard – you’re a life safer.
This is guaranteed to change your life if you let it. Mind-blowing stuff.
To everyone – not just those whose anger is out of control – this would be
invaluable to gain understanding of anger. If you have had enough and don’t know
which direction to go, this course, will give you a new focus for your future.
A very worthwhile, educational and transforming experience.
If you have an anger problem, chances are that you will not manage it on your
own. Try this course you will thank yourself later.
There has been events in my life that when they happen and there’s no going back
to how things where before e.g. before I got married, before I had children and
after a loved one had died. This anger management course has been one of those
life-changing events. Things have changed.
This has been beyond belief. It will be so useful in my life – although I am
afraid I might go back to my old ways.
I have learned so much about stress and anger management in a few days – it is
quite unbelievable. I already feel stronger and more in control. This course
will improve my life and the lives of those around me. There is still a lot of
work to be completed when I go home, but this is a starting point in my life. I
would strongly suggest and recommend this course to anyone who is willing to be
honest, open and take risks to improve their lives.
ANGER ESSENTIALS
Understanding anger is essential for anyone involved in the caring profession,
as underneath the anger are feelings that desperately need to be expressed and
accepted. This course gave me the tools to do this. First class.
More, more, more. Very challenging, beneficial and enjoyable.
Very relevant - I highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed this training and would love more. It was fascinating.
Very useful - I meet a lot of angry clients. I learned things I was unaware of
which will help me with my clients. I think all counsellors could benefit from
this training.
Good on a practical and theoretical level. Well explained with a clear and wide
knowledge.
Very useful for teachers and school counsellors.
Stimulating – new knowledge and insight. Real situations put to theory.
Very useful. Great, relaxed, honest, open and knowledgeable learning. Will give
me great confidence.
I found the course relevant for my working environment and also my personal
development. One of the best courses I have experienced for content and also
enjoyment.
This is a very well organised programme covering all aspects of anger management
from a theoretical and experiential prospective. The interactive nature of the
programme adds to its quality. I felt valued and respected as a human being.
Thank you.
Really useful for work and private life.
I found it interesting, challenging, opening my mind to becoming more aware of
anger, types of anger and ways of protecting myself as a practitioner.
I found this to be very worthwhile and useful in any part of my life.
The training is very accessible and enjoyable. The delivery is excellent and the
injection of humour uplifting. I believe that all counsellors should avail of
this type of training.
Can integrate and incorporate into area of work.
Open contribution from counselling colleagues appreciated, which made it more
comfortable to participate and share personal and professional experiences.
I found the training to be informative. It was presented in a relaxed way, which
enhanced the learning.
This course has begun the process of understanding my anger and it’s triggers
and in turn I feel better able to help my clients with their anger. I can see
where I could apply this learning in a General Practice setting.
This was a packed day with lots of managed emotions, which challenged me to look
at self and anger and dealing with client anger and the consequences that are
possible. Well worth doing.
Very approachable. Got to know stages of anger cycle and assault cycle. Also
looked at how old hurts spill into present expressions of anger. Feel I will be
more compassionate with clients and myself and allow space for hurts to come up.
I feel this anger management programme will be helpful for me in my work as most
of my clients suppress their anger in alcohol and drugs.
I feel this training will enable and encourage myself and my colleagues to
become more reflective as opposed too reactive.
Very useful – I will certainly bring some of this into the counselling setting
with me and I will definitely use it.
STAYING COOL UNDER FIRE
This was extremely helpful. Good delivery and information given in a clear and
understandable manner. Would love a week of this!
This was very useful and will be helpful in my work environment, especially with
difficult staff.
Very useful – especially in identifying anger issues and resolve them before
they get out of hand.
This will be very useful in working with staff. But the main thing for me from
the day is that I will try to control myself and not let situations get out of
hand.
Very useful in dealing with staff issues/conflict and useful in dealing with
resident’s issues.
Very useful re myself, staff and clients when managing ‘feelings’.
I know that what was delivered today will be very appropriate in the workplace.
I would recommend this course. It will use some of the models presented.
Great presenter, good course.
Excellent programme, lots of information. Very interesting.
I found the course extremely interesting but would have liked more time.
Facilitator very dynamic – honest in sharing his experiences.
Bernard’s delivery was very good. It was a training day packed with information
– possibly enough for a 2-day course. Time well invested!!
All of this was relevant to me and I will use it in my work environment.
All of this was useful. Bernard was approachable and kept information clear,
jargon free and spoke of everyday practical experience. As a result I found it
very easy to understand and beneficial.
What I liked was being able to, in a safe environment, communicate freely and
self reflect and become more aware of anger, issues and triggers.
Environment and tutor (Bernard) made communication comfortable, honest and
valuable.
I enjoyed the course, which, Bernard presented in a way that put me at my ease.
I felt I got a lot out of the day. Thank you!
I thoroughly enjoyed today and have left with a more confident attitude in
dealing with certain situations.
